Life

Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans.

I have seen this quote many times.  It's printed on bumper stickers and t-shirts and things like that.  I would have never guess who it was attributed to , though.  Sometimes things happen in our lives that we did not plan for.  An illness, a financial difficulty, or some other unforeseen circumstance.  We lose our footing, for a moment, and suddenly the world is spinning out of control.  We are easily drawn into that cesspool of negativity, and blame.  Blame for others, blame for God.  How dare He let this happen to me?! How dare those people treat me that way?! But really, we can 't blame God, and we certainly can't blame other people.  It is just life.  Life on a planet tainted with sin.  Life with people tainted with sin, ourselves included! We cannot expect life to go perfectly, when neither the earth , nor other people are perfect.  It is simply life. While we are busy being "lords" of our own lives , and making other plans,  life passes by.  God , in His infinite wisdom, has His own plan.  A plan that included salvation for all who ask, mercy for all who seek, and a Person to go to when our plan does not come together.  I am so very glad I asked the Master Planner to take charge of  my life!
